THREE WHEELIN’

Many people go through life, living and believing that they are a being consisting of mind and body. These people are 66 percent correct. People are in fact three part beings consisting of Mind, Body and Spirit. As we go through our lives, in order to have total peace, we must keep all 3 of these areas balanced. Just like a 3 wheeler, you know the motorcycle looking thing with one wheel in front and two in the back ! Picture yourself driving through your life on this vehicle only paying attention the the two back wheels, keeping them balanced, clean, making sure the tread is good etc.. But you pay no attention to the front wheel, this wheel is smaller than the back wheels but is MORE important because this is the wheel that has an effect on where you are going and not necessarily how fast you get there. The three wheels are Mind and Body in the back and your Spirit in the front. Your Mind and Body (back wheels) carry the weight of your journey and control the speed in which you reach your destination. Your Spirit (front wheel) controls where you go and can guide you through your troubles and also steer you clear of some major bumps in the road that life sometimes throws at us. Your Spirit can guide you to the Right Destination. If you concentrate on keeping your body healthy and your mind sound, as many people do, you will most likely have a pretty satisfying life. Why do people who are healthy, both physically and mentally, happy in their personal and business lives need therapy? I will tell you! These people don’t realize that they have a spirit within them that yearns for and cries out for a relationship with God. They never paid any attention to the FRONT WHEEL! The back wheels are well balanced, shiny chrome rims, new tread, armor all on the outside etc… absolutely in perfect shape. But the FRONT wheel on the other hand has been ignored, the tread is wearing thin (Faith), it's chrome is covered in dirt (Sin) and it wabbles all over the place because it is out of balance and hasn’t been maintained (Prayer). You can clearly see how this would produce a VERY rough ride through life no matter how smooth the road is. So as you go through your daily life, don’t forget about your Front wheel. Get new tread by reading God’s word and putting your trust and Faith in Him and His Promises. Clean the dirt off by searching out the sin in your life and vowing to put an end to it by crucifying your fleshly desires daily. And bring some balance to your life by Talking to God your father, and Praying to Him. He Promised that he will NEVER leave us. By offering yourself up as a living sacrifice to allow God’s WILL to be done through you, you begin to change the old tread with new. And when you start to show Love, Kindness and Mercy to those around you, you allow that shiny chrome to be seen. And then you begin to shine for God. When you shine for God and get all three of your wheels in balance, your ride through life will be a MUCH SMOOTHER one.

Father, In the name of Jesus Christ I ask you to forgive me for the times that I have fallen short of your Glory. I ask you to show me the areas of my life that I need to work on. I ask you to guide me through my daily life and give me the strength to turn away from sin. Father I ask that you show me your Holiness and Righteousness and take up residence in my heart. Father I repent of all of my sin and I thank you for saving my Soul by taking my place on the Cross. Father I ask that you Guide me, direct me and give me YOUR Wisdom to do YOUR WILL and not my own. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen.
